swapping partner for a !   6/10/2008

We recently had chat with 1 gut who was up to arrange a swap. However, as the conversation panned out, it turned out the person he was gonna bring was in fact gonna be a . How could he expect us to agree to this exchange? His emotional connection with this female was totally non-existant, wheras me ands my partner have been together over 10 years. Sometimes, the politeness of the answer should be ...

If Someone says "Thank you but I am not interested"..   26/9/2008

Or one of those others pleasant let you down easy one liners, why do you feel the need to counter the statement with "Why?" or some other pestering comment or rude comment?

Would these replies honestly make the person reconsider the rejecting reply that they initially sent?

If you got one of those responses, would you take the reply as a hit and then move on or if you like what ...

YOU SUSPECT A STD   31/8/2008

You meet someone online. You meet in person and like one another. You decide to have sex. You're both naked. Then you see it. A bump, blister, redness, or something else that you think could be a std. But you may be wrong. It might be nothing. The other person might not be aware of it. How do you stop without hurting the other persons feelings? What is the polite way to handle this situation?

Not an easy thing   29/7/2008

Guess it depends on how warm/cold a person you are to how difficult you find this.

We are very tactful and warm people so find it quite difficult. We can make our minds up pretty quick to whether or not we are interested. Will tell you now we definately aint interested in people without pix on their profile as it shows ...

Is it wrong to just say no?   7/7/2008

Despite what Nancy Reagan may have started with that expression, I don't mean drugs. I'm talking about oral sex. To be frank, I've never really been one for the cunnilingus or the blow jobs, to be honest. I've always found it be at best, impersonal and at worst, dangerous. Stay with me on this one.

I agree that oral is a valid point of foreplay (something I have often enjoyed over ...

I have found that many people will just ignore you instead of just saying I am not interested. Why? I wouldn't do that to anyone, so, lets just have some common manners.

It sucks when it happens to you   5/7/2008

Married? No thanks. No offense, but if you're not being satisfied by your man, then leave him, but don't go looking for some side fun. My first wife cheated on me, and knowing what it feels like, no matter how hot she is, if she's married, I'm the one that has to sleep with my conscience at night. I know there are people who disagree with me, though.

Your thoughts?

"No thanks"   26/5/2008

5/25/09 Most people appreciate when you're being upfront with them. If it's "Sorry, I'm not interested." "No thanks." It's all the same, people on this site, and in general have been around enough, that they should be able totake no as no, and keep on going.

"I didn't want to hurt him"   22/5/2008

I don't understand why women blow off men because they "don't want to hurt them". I've seen this happen many times with friends (male and female), and to myself as well. A guy will ask a girl out, she's not interested but she doesn't want to reject him so she says yes, even gives out her phone #, with no intention of ever going out on a date with the guy. If you're not interested, just say so! ...

Working in a bar   1/5/2008

Working in a bar is definately a great thing, i believe everybody would agree. Free drinks, great girls around you and of course the sex. Yet, it is not always a sexy girl that is trying to get you. Then what do one do? Just gets drunk enough? Or runs away? Saying no can be a challenge...it is not really pleasant, you know. We all have been there- been said "No thanks" in one way or another. He even thinks that he's being rude by saying "No thanks" to strippers when we're in a lap dancing club; you get some right wrongens stripping these days and it seems they know that men find it hard to say 'no' too; why else would they push themselves so hard onto punters?

Lets just face the fact   13/4/2008

Being all "adults" here at this site, it seems to me that we could use a Little common courtesy. Its ok to let someone know if your not interested, "thanks, but no thanks". I don't think there's anything wrong with that. Its not hard to understand, its our que to move on. And move on we should. Rejection is a part of being on this site. Lets just face that fact and go on and still have fun.

Telling Someone You Meet Sorry You Misrepresented   10/4/2008

Why are some people so mean?   31/3/2008

I don't understand why some find it necessary to write so cruelly when one says a polite "No thank you."

After responding rather than ignoring their communications, and doing so in a polite and tactful way, I have encountered such meaness in spirit that it makes me shake my head in disbelief.

Why?

I always have a hard time with saying no too, then i start thinking what if things were the other way around. If i was the one who was extremely attracted to the girl and you absolutely want to know what the hell does she think of you. you soon realize, that yes you might hurt her now but in the long run it would be better than not hearing the truth.
